...It was a slow morning.
The sketch I originally did for this was months and months ago, and I was terribly bored this morning so I decided to experiment in vector, playing around with outlines (I'm usually a sucker for thick, black, cartoon outlines). The background totally ran away from me, which is sad because I had to do it entire by hand since I couldn't get the text-fill to work. Maybe one day I'll go through and add shadows and gradients to poor Oran. Anyway, as those of you who are familiar with my writing have probably already guessed, this is Oran from Dramatic Orchestrations and Listen For Thunder, the patronizing patriarch of Jareth's family. Not 100% how I picture him, but obviously I'm constrained by my own artistic limitations. |
